Rustic Home in Spain

Sunday night here. I hope you all had a lovely weekend.<br /><br />This home in Spain is one of 15 renovated and restored from a 19th century industrial building. The antique bricks used for the dining room and bedroom floors were originally from a 17th century palace in Cadiz. Warm and rustic, simple and inviting. Come and have a look with me.<br /><br /><img src="http://www.elmueble.com/medio/2011/08/01/panoramica_salon-comedor_645x519.jpg?random=1319418801459" /><br /><br /><img src="http://www.elmueble.com/medio/2011/08/01/salon_con_comedor_al_fondo_402x519.jpg?random=1319418871544" style="width: 500px; height: 645px;" /><br /><br /><img src="http://www.elmueble.com/medio/2011/08/01/detalle_bandeja_389x519.jpg?random=1319418823699" style="width: 500px; height: 667px;" /><br /><br /><img src="http://www.elmueble.com/medio/2011/08/01/detalle_caja_389x519.jpg?random=1319418838406" style="width: 499px; height: 665px;" /><br />This beautiful hand painted barrel stands by the fireplace in the sitting room.<br /><br /><img src="http://www.elmueble.com/medio/2011/08/01/salon_y_comedor_al_fondo_389x519.jpg?random=1319418859360" style="width: 500px; height: 667px;" /><br /><br /><img src="http://www.elmueble.com/medio/2011/08/01/salon_con_ventanas_416x519.jpg?random=1319418880308" style="width: 499px; height: 622px;" /><br /><br /><img src="http://www.elmueble.com/medio/2011/08/01/salon_vista_frontal_438x519.jpg?random=1319418893612" style="width: 500px; height: 592px;" /><br /><br /><img src="http://www.elmueble.com/medio/2011/08/01/mesita_y_armario_office_370x519.jpg?random=1319423008580" style="width: 499px; height: 699px;" /><br /><br /><img src="http://www.elmueble.com/medio/2011/08/01/detalle_silla_interior_389x519.jpg?random=1319422990508" style="width: 499px; height: 665px;" /><br /><br /><img src="http://www.elmueble.com/medio/2011/08/01/comedor_389x519.jpg?random=1319418771281" style="width: 500px; height: 667px;" /><br /><br /><img src="http://www.elmueble.com/medio/2011/08/01/detalle_floreros_428x519.jpg?random=1319423072932" style="width: 500px; height: 606px;" /><br /><br /><img src="http://www.elmueble.com/medio/2011/08/01/cocina_398x519.jpg?random=1319423048044" style="width: 500px; height: 652px;" /><br /><br /><img src="http://www.elmueble.com/medio/2011/08/01/detalle_boles_con_plantas_389x519.jpg?random=1319423059658" style="width: 500px; height: 667px;" /><br /><br /><img src="http://www.elmueble.com/medio/2011/08/01/detalle_grifo_cocina_389x519.jpg?random=1319423025401" style="width: 500px; height: 667px;" /><br /><br /><img src="http://www.elmueble.com/medio/2011/08/01/detalle_silla_exterior_389x519.jpg?random=1319418747879" style="width: 500px; height: 667px;" /><br /><br /><img src="http://www.elmueble.com/medio/2011/08/01/contra_habitacion_infantil_con_ventana_389x519.jpg?random=1319419042236" style="width: 500px; height: 667px;" /><br /><br /><img src="http://www.elmueble.com/medio/2011/08/01/detalle_collar_389x519.jpg?random=1319418942475" style="width: 500px; height: 667px;" /><br /><br /><img src="http://www.elmueble.com/medio/2011/08/01/dormitorio_principal_371x519.jpg?random=1319419050951" style="width: 499px; height: 698px;" /><br /><br /><img src="http://www.elmueble.com/medio/2011/08/01/detalle_bandeja_389x519_2.jpg?random=1319419065741" style="width: 500px; height: 667px;" /><br /><br /><img src="http://www.elmueble.com/medio/2011/08/01/detalle_butaca_389x519.jpg?random=1319419027060" style="width: 500px; height: 667px;" /><br /><br /><img src="http://www.elmueble.com/medio/2011/08/01/habitacion_infantil_385x519.jpg?random=1319419087441" style="width: 500px; height: 674px;" /><br /><br /><img src="http://www.elmueble.com/medio/2011/08/01/detalle_ranas_389x519.jpg?random=1319419077759" style="width: 500px; height: 667px;" /><br /><br /><img src="http://www.elmueble.com/medio/2011/08/01/habitacion_infantil_con_ventana_365x519.jpg?random=1319419101611" style="width: 500px; height: 710px;" /><br /><br />All images from <a href="http://www.elmueble.com/">here</a>.

New Home in Newport

Boston-based architect James Cullion and interior designer Eileen Marcuvitz were appointed to build and decorate this house on a two-acre lot overlooking the Newport, Rhode Island’s Sakonnet River. While the original house had to be pulled down, the trees that surrounded it were preserved, especially the massive oak tree, this way the house seems to have been standing here for years.<br /><br /><img src="http://www.nehomemag.com/sites/default/files/images/7/gallery_images/SO10%20Cullion%2003.jpg" style="width: 650px; height: 433px;" /><br /><br /><img src="http://www.nehomemag.com/sites/default/files/images/7/gallery_images/SO10%20Cullion%2004.jpg" style="width: 651px; height: 392px;" /><br /><br /><img src="http://www.nehomemag.com/sites/default/files/images/7/gallery_images/SO10%20Cullion%2006.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://www.nehomemag.com/sites/default/files/images/7/gallery_images/SO10%20Cullion%2007.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://www.nehomemag.com/sites/default/files/images/7/gallery_images/SO10%20Cullion%2008.jpg" style="width: 661px; height: 440px;" /><br /><br /><img src="http://www.nehomemag.com/sites/default/files/images/7/gallery_images/SO10%20Cullion%2005.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://www.nehomemag.com/sites/default/files/images/7/gallery_images/SO10%20Cullion%2013.jpg" style="width: 663px; height: 507px;" /><br /><br /><img src="http://www.nehomemag.com/sites/default/files/images/7/gallery_images/SO10%20Cullion%2001.jpg" style="width: 533px; height: 685px;" /><br /><br /><img src="http://www.nehomemag.com/sites/default/files/images/7/gallery_images/SO10%20Cullion%2002.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://www.nehomemag.com/sites/default/files/images/7/gallery_images/SO10%20Cullion%2009.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://www.nehomemag.com/sites/default/files/images/7/gallery_images/SO10%20Cullion%2012.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://www.nehomemag.com/sites/default/files/images/7/gallery_images/SO10%20Cullion%2011.jpg" /><br /><br /><img height="562" src="http://www.nehomemag.com/sites/default/files/images/7/gallery_images/SO10%20Cullion%2010.jpg" width="457" /><br /><br /><img src="http://www.nehomemag.com/sites/default/files/images/7/gallery_images/SO10%20Cullion%2014.jpg" style="width: 649px; height: 602px;" /><br /><br /><img src="http://www.nehomemag.com/sites/default/files/images/7/gallery_images/SO10%20Cullion%2015.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://www.nehomemag.com/sites/default/files/images/7/gallery_images/SO10%20Cullion%2016.jpg" style="width: 649px; height: 494px;" /><br />Reading nook in the master bedroom.<br /><br />Photography by Robert Benson<br />All images from<a href="http://www.nehomemag.com/"> here</a>.
