The Bromberg Sehlberg family live in this beautiful apartment on a quiet avenue in Östermalm in Stockholm. <span id="result_box" class="" lang="en"><span class="">In their previous apartment, red had been the predominant colour for their Christmas decoration. It had lots of energy</span><span class="hps"></span><span class="hps"></span><span class="hps"></span><span class="hps"></span><span class="">,</span> <span class="hps">but this year</span><span class="hps"> they felt they needed </span><span class="hps"></span><span class="hps">a really</span> <span class="hps">restful</span> <span class="hps">place</span> <span class="hps">and chose to</span> <span class="hps">tone down</span> <span class="hps">the colors on the</span> <span class="hps">walls and</span> <span class="hps">furnishings.</span> The result: <span class="hps">a</span><span class="hps"> soft</span> <span class="hps">Christmas with</span> <span class="hps">elements</span> <span class="hps">of natural</span> <span class="hps">colors</span>.<span class="hps"></span><span class=""></span></span><br /><br /><br /><span class="image-zoom-wrapper" style="width: 460px;"><span class="zoom-holder"><img alt="Det blir en naturlig jul i år. Chirstmas in the Air #2

This is my second (and I'm sure it will not be the last) Christmas inspired post of the year. There is also a <a href="http://inspiracionline.blogspot.com/2009/11/floating-christmas-tree-in-rio.html">floating Christmas tree</a> if you'd like to see it.<br /><br />Located on the outskirts of Madrid, this is a decidedly fun house. The owners, Carlos Arriaga who is a painter and photographer and his wife, an interior designer, created a cheerful home full of fun ideas. Floating Christmas Tree in Rio

As some of you might know I live in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I'd like to share with you these photographs of a stunning Chirstmas tree they put up every year (since 1996) in the middle of a lake called Rodrigo de Freitas or Lagoa as the locals like to call it.<br /><br />It soars 85 meters high and uses 2,9 million light bulbs! It is built over a floating platform that moves around the lake. It will be lit every night until January 6th and on Saturdays there's a firework show.
