Last Home Tour of the Year!

To all my dear readers, I hope you had a very Merry Christmas! Mine was splendid, we celebrated at home and invited all our relatives over. It was a double celebration as only a few days before Christmas my eldest son sat for his last exam at university and is now an engineer!<br />Tomorrow we'll be going to a summer place called Chapadmalal where we will have no access to the Internet so I won't be posting again until we come back on January 16th.<br />So, as I won't be seeing you before, I'd like to wish you all now a very Happy New Year, and thank you for this wonderful inspired year together giving me support through your comments and cheering along which makes all my time spent on blogging definitely worth while! Photographer Mark Darley.

<span class="text"><span class="text" style="color:#000000;">Photographer Mark Darley was born in Hampshire, Great Britain. He graduated from Radley College, Oxfordshire, and later studied law at Reading University in the UK. This was followed by a life-changing two and a half year voyage, circumnavigating the globe under sail.<br /><br />He then moved to New York City and studied photography and design at the Parsons School of Design. Within three years of arriving in America he had launched his career, specializing in interior and architectural photography. Photographer Rachel Whiting

Getting all ready for New Year's celebrations? Can you believe this year is nearly over? I can't, you can't, nobody can! Well maybe just the little ones can. I remember when I thought the year 2000 would never come and we used to say something like: yeah, you'll manage to do that when pigs fly or in 2000, as if this would never come. Here in Argentina when we think something will never happen we say it will "en el año verde" (the green year) which of course does not exist. My goodness who invented that!<br /><br />As you may have noticed I'm posting every other day instead of every day. I'm on holidays and I seem to have so much more to do than when I'm at home. Anyway, today I'd like you to meet London based freelance photographer Rachel Whiting who specializes in interiors and still-life.
